New Slipway

A new boathouse ramp and extension to the Slipway has been completed by a group of volunteers at the club. These improvements reduce the risk of slipping in wet weather and allows for much better grip when pulling boats up, it has been such a success that we are now considering renaming the slipway to gripway! The members also installed a drainage gully which now directs water away from the boat house / Kit store which should prevent the area from flooding as it has done in the past. With the earth that was moved when laying the concrete we have also created a new level area in the boat park that can be used for rigging / de-rigging which has been a welcome addition to many. Many thanks to all of the Voulunteers that helped.
